Swindler - Susannah Himes

Ladoga, Oct 23 -- Mrs. Susannah Swindler, aged 90, died at her home on North Washington street yesterday morning at six after an illness of about two weeks with stomach trouble. Miss Susanna Himes was born in 1821 in Virginia. She was married twice. First to Senaca Benson and several years after his death to William Swindler. To the first union six children were born, four of whom are living, Will Benson of Los Angeles California; Mrs. Mattie Burgess of Chicago; Mrs. Charley Call and Mrs. Jonas Gish of this place. The funeral services will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the Dunkard Church of which Mrs. Swindler was a member. Interment at Ladoga Cemetery.
